Caldas school recognizes the importance of instilling in our students the desire to have better spelling skills. Having in mind that our human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Spelling is still relevant in our educational context. Certainly it helps to improve spelling by arousing interest among students and creating a nice atmosphere for competition.
Spelling Bee Winners
Congratulations to all of our competitors. We are very proud of all of your for trying your best during the spelling bee. It is important to mention that our spellers in the finals went further in the list of words than any group in previous years. Here, we have the names of the best spellers in elementary:

On May 12,2011, spellers from different schools gathered at La Salle school for the 5th Annual Spelling Bee. Each of the students had won the spelling championships at their home schools, earning them the privilege of competing against champions from other schools. Our student Benjamin Carrascal was the best speller.
